Video conferencing is a type of technology by which people can communicate with others on computers or laptops like communicating face to face. Video conferencing is basically used in business meetings, schools, colleges, hospitals and in many other places. The equipments which are used for video conferencing are webcams, monitors, projectors, laptops, and mobile phones. It is totally different from the conversation which we do on telephone which is audio equipment. Nowadays most of the people use high technology and latest designed video conferencing equipments which are available in the market at reasonable rates and with ultimate technology.

Video conferencing equipments are  now easily available in the market. Earlier it was not as affordable as now because one had to spend lot of money to buy equipments for video conference at that time. Webcam is very necessary equipment for making conference calls as it helps in sending your image to other person. Basically two monitors are required for conferencing and presentation while some of the people utilize only one monitor nowadays. Some people also use projectors instead of monitors for better presentations. One needs to connect via Internet and download the related software for making a conference.
